PROJECT BACKGROUND
Cozy Innovations, a burgeoning home furnishing company in Hassan, Karnataka, sought to establish a strong brand identity. The company wanted a logo that encapsulated the essence of comfort and coziness, reflecting their range of home furnishing products. In addition to the logo, they required business cards and brochures to promote their brand effectively. The design brief emphasized creating a visual identity that would resonate with customers and convey the comfort associated with their products.
MEETINGS
CLIENT EXPECTATIONS
The client envisioned a logo that would clearly communicate the comfort and aesthetic appeal of their furnishings. They wanted the logo to include elements that symbolize relaxation and coziness. Additionally, Cozy Innovations required a tagline to complement the logo and reinforce their brand message. Promotional materials such as brochures and business cards were also needed to enhance brand visibility and provide a professional image.
RESEARCH
MARKET RESEARCH
To ensure the logo and promotional materials met client expectations and resonated with the target audience, extensive market research was conducted. This involved studying competitors' branding strategies and gathering feedback from potential customers. The research highlighted the importance of visual elements that evoke comfort and aesthetic appeal, and helped in selecting appropriate design features and fonts.
LO-FI AND MOCKUPS
INITIAL DESIGN
The initial design process for Cozy Innovations began with comprehensive client meetings to define the vision and objectives for the branding. The client wanted a logo that conveyed comfort and coziness, and the design team incorporated elements such as a hanging swing for the letter 'C', a standing pole for 'I', and lanterns to represent the product range. To ensure the designs resonated with the target audience, feedback was gathered from potential customers, helping to refine the design direction and feature selection.
Prototypes and mockups were created using design tools like Figma, showcasing various logo concepts and promotional materials. These were presented to the client for feedback, leading to several rounds of revisions to perfect the design. A/B testing of different font styles and color schemes informed the final choices. After iterative improvements based on client input, the final designs were approved, ensuring they met the brand’s goals and effectively communicated its core values of comfort and aesthetic appeal.
HI-FI PROTOTYPE
FINAL DESIGN
After several rounds of iterative design meetings and feedback sessions, the final logo design was confirmed. The logo effectively combined the hanging swing for 'C', the standing pole for 'I', and lantern elements to showcase the product range. The quirky font used in the logo conveyed the comfort and casual nature of the brand. The brochure and business card designs were finalized after three mock-ups, aligning with the established visual identity and ensuring cohesive branding across all materials.
